At its first meeting September 8, the City's Vision Fund Citizens Committee established working sessions and plans for multiple public hearings on more than two dozen submitted proposals.
The nine-member group plans to meet weekly to review proposals submitted by 25 applicants and host presentation sessions open to the public in mid-to-late October.
Members of the Committee are Mark Massa, Tim Johnson, Bob DeMersseman, Megan Reder-Schopp, Dawn Connor, Jo Lynn Little Wounded, Heather Forney, Katy Kinnan, and George Grassby (chairman).
The purpose of the Committee is to accept and take comments on potential Vision Account projects other than those projects identified by the Mayor and City Council. The Committee will evaluate potential projects and provide recommendations to the City Council.
