Hundreds of senior citizens enjoyed Thanksgiving turkey with pumpkin pie and traditional side dishes November 15 at the Minneluzahan Senior Citizens Center.

Members of the Rapid City Fire and Police Departments, along with City and County officials, members of the South Dakota National Guard and Ellsworth Air Force Base assisted in dishing up the meals and serving the seniors.  Council members Ritchie Nordstrom and Laura Armstrong, along with County Commissioner Lloyd LaCroix and Jeff Marlette from Senator Mike Rounds office were also in attendance.

Rapid City Meals on Wheels official George Larson says the annual holiday meal has been a tradition for approximately the past 30 years and is funded by volunteer donations.
