Water Line Extension Project Moves Forward

RAPID CITY--Water pressure was fully restored to residents in the Auburn Hills subdivision by mid-afternoon Thursday.  Residents had been asked to reduce water usage in the area since Tuesday as a contractor conducted additional work on newly-installed pipeline on a segment of a water line extension project.

The impacted area affected residents within the boundary of Cobalt Drive to the north to Viking Drive to the south, to Misty Woods Drive to the west and Haines Avenue on the east.

The water line extension project is expected to be completed by the contractor in the next few weeks, according to City officials.
