MAIN STREET WATER LINE REPAIRS COMPLETE, TRAFFIC LANE OPENS
RAPID CITY--City crews have completed repairs on the water line on Main Street, east of East Boulevard near the Post Office and all lanes of traffic in the impacted area are now open.
The water line break was reported Monday morning and it affected water service to one business. One lane of traffic was closed to complete repairs. The break occurred on a six-inch cast iron main and officials believe the break was due to freeze-thaw weather conditions.
