Thursday, May 11 marked the grand opening for the Rapid City Public Library's completed interior renovations.

Months of dedicated work by staff of the Rapid City Public Library has resulted in this week's grand opening celebration of major interior renovations of the facility.
Thursday's grand opening celebration included entertainment by Hank Harris, refreshments, tours and other festivities.
The public will see several new changes and renovations inside the facility. As they say in library circles:
