Informal quarterly discussions provide
updates, gather input from planners, developers, public
RAPID CITY--The City's Department of Community Development will host its quarterly "Coffee With Planners" Wednesday, August 7, at 9 a.m. in Council Chambers of the City/School Administration Center. The public is invited.
The hour-long session offers participants the opportunity to rotate to three discussion tables featuring various topics, according to City officials. Table discussions at the August 7 session will include affordable housing, reviewing potential changes to landscaping requirements and an overview of the City's Comprehensive Plan.
"These coffee sessions provide an opportunity in an informal setting to sit down and engage with city staff on various planning issues," said Community Development Director Ken Young. "These discussions are quite productive for City staff and participants."
The coffee events are held quarterly. Coffee, bagels and doughnuts will be provided.
