Rapid City, SD - The City is seeking interest to fill two (2) vacancies on the Community Investment Committee.
Applicants must be residents of Rapid City or of the City’s extraterritorial platting jurisdiction. Terms will be for three (3) years expiring 10/1/2023.

The Community Investment Committee makes recommendations to the Rapid City Common Council on the annual Community Development Block Grant subgrantee selections, and the annual selection of non-profit grantee recipients of the General Fund allocation made for that purpose. Members shall not hold any elective office in city government or be an employee of the City.

CITY SEEKS APPLICANTS FOR PUBLIC PARKING ADVISORY BOARD

Rapid City, SD: The City is seeking candidates to fill two (2) vacancies on the Public Parking Advisory Board.
The current vacancies are for unexpired terms expiring July 1, 2021 and July 1, 2022. Applicants must be residents of Rapid City, or be the owner of property located in the district established in 10.44.010 of the RCMC. An owner of property shall mean the title holder, purchaser under a contract for deed, lessee, or an officer, agent, or employee of a legal entity that meets one of the three criteria. This advisory board consists of seven (7) members, with a minimum of four (4) members being from the district.

The Parking Advisory Board will advise and make policy recommendations to City staff and City Council on all aspects of public parking within the City. The purpose of the board is to provide citizen property owner input into the policy decisions for the City related to all aspects of public parking, including on-street parking, parking meters, parking garages, parking lots, and parking fees. The board is also responsible for hearing and deciding any administrative appeals from people assessed additional fees for parking in violation of RCMC 10.40 and 10.44 . The board will meet as necessary to fulfill its obligations and perform the duties established.

METROPOLITAN PLANNING ORGANIZATION CITIZENS ADVISORY COMMITTEE
Rapid City, SD: The Rapid City Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is seeking to fill vacancies on the Citizen’s Advisory Committee
The Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) serves as the primary public participation forum for the transportation products of the MPO. The CAC makes recommendations to the MPO Executive Policy Committee regarding MPO studies, plans, and transportation products.
