Downtown Rapid City is hustling and bustling with activities throughout the Christmas holiday season.

There is free downtown parking on Saturdays through December 17.  The permit includes free parking in all downtown public lots and metered spaces on the streets and in the parking ramp near Main Street Square.

The City's Christmas tree is a 28-foot, 25-year old Blue Spruce donated by the Yarborough family on Jolly Lane.  The tree has 2600 lights and brightens Main Street Square and can be seen from several blocks away.
