RAPID CITY--The City's outdoor pools have opened for the summer.
The Roosevelt Swim Center's 50-meter outdoor pool opened May 30 with open swim time from 1-5 p.m. daily, and lap swim times 7:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-7:30 p.m. Saturdays and 1-7:30 p.m. Sundays.
Sioux Park's Jimmy Hilton Pool and Parkview Pool opened June 1 and the Horace Mann Pool opened June 2. Pool hours will be Noon-6 p.m. at each facility.
The indoor Roosevelt Swim Center will switch to summer hours after Memorial Day, with open swim at 1-5 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays, 6:30-8:45 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, 1-8:45 p.m. Fridays, 1-7:45 p.m. Saturdays and 1-5 p.m. Sundays.
Public skate hours at the Roosevelt Ice Arena change June 1-August 31, moving to 1:30-3:30 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and 6:15-8:30 p.m. on Fridays.
