City Offices, Rapid Transit, Landfill Closed On Good Friday
City offices, Rapid Transit and the Landfill will be closed Good Friday; other services will be open then but closed on Easter Sunday.

Library, Swim Center, Ice Arena will be open but closed Easter Sunday
RAPID CITY--City administrative offices will be closed Friday, March 30 in observance of Good Friday, affecting city transit and trash collection services. Some City facilities will be open Good Friday and closed on Easter Sunday.
Rapid Transit Services including RapidRide and Dial-A-Ride, will not be operating on Good Friday. The City Landfill will also be closed and will be open Saturday, March 31. City garbage collection will be adjusted during Easter week with collection set a day earlier than scheduled beginning with Monday and Tuesday's collection on Monday, Wednesday's collection on Tuesday, etc. All routes will be completed by Thursday afternoon. Residents are asked to leave their trash and recycling containers out until collected.
The Rapid City Library, Swim Center and Ice Arena will be open Good Friday but will be closed on Easter Sunday. The Rushmore Plaza Civic Center's administrative offices will be open Good Friday with limited staff and the box office will be open.
Administrative offices for the Rapid City Fire and Police Departments will be closed Good Friday but with normal shift operations
Regional Airport's administrative offices will be closed Friday with the runway open and flights operating as scheduled. Check airlines for flight schedules.
