City Issues $27.9 Million In Building Permit Valuation For February

Top permit activity issued for Moon Meadows apartments, amenity center
RAPID CITY, SD--The City's Building Services Division issued 166 permits in February with a total valuation of $27,917,585.
For 2018, the City has issued 402 permits with a total valuation of $125,483,613. During the first two months of 2017, the City had issued 392 permits with a valuation of $58,036,287.
Top-valued permits in February included the eight apartment buildings and amenity center to Alta Terra Development LLC for the Meadows Apartments project at 1701-1843 Moon Meadows Drive. The total value of the permits is $22,207,632. Other top valued permits issued in February included a single family dwelling with attached garage at 674 Stumer Road ($488,494); Walmart Real Estate for a grocery pick-up addition at 1200 N. La Crosse Street (($362,000); and a single family dwelling with attached garage at 6108 Grand Teton Court ($337,466).
