The City will serve as an Angel Tree location as part of the Salvation Army Black Hills Women's Auxiliary's Angel Tree Program.

The City's Angel Tree is located in the lobby of City Hall, 300 Sixth Street.  The tree is adorned with 35 tags.

The Angel Tree Tag shows whether the toy will be for a boy or girl, the child's age and two toy suggestions based on that child's age and gender.  An individual taking the tag should purchase a new toy based on the information from the Angel Tree Tag and return it unwrapped to any participating Salvation Army Angel Tree location.

Deadline to drop off items is December 15.

Last year, 955 local less fortunate families which included over 2,000 children were assisted by the Angel Tree program.
