City Finance Employees Donate to Red Cross/Legion Lake Fire Efforts
City Finance staff donated $325 to the Red Cross dedicated to Legion Lake fire efforts. Each year, the Finance staff selects a charitable organization for a donation gift instead of holiday gifts among themselves.

For many years, the employees of the Rapid City Municipal Finance Office have decided, instead of exchanging Christmas gifts with each other, they would collect donations for a local non-profit agency. Employees are asked to submit non-profits they would like to have considered and once the organization is selected by the majority of the employees, a card is passed and donations are given. This year, the Rapid City Finance Department is proud to present a check in the amount of $325 to the American Red Cross for the Legion Lake Fire efforts.
