Additional presentations on the future of the Civic Center's Barnett Arena are scheduled for Thursday Oct. 12 and Thursday, Oct. 19.

Mayor Steve Allender completed his fourth public presentation on options for the Civic Center's Barnett Arena Oct. 19. Approximately 300 people have attended the four presentations with several dozen people taking advantage of tours of the Arena by Civic Center staff after the presentations.
No additional public presentations are scheduled at this time, although others may be scheduled. The mayor is continuing to present to various community groups.
The Mayor's presentation is now available online at http://www.barnettarena.com There are 10 video segments to choose from including the entire presentation. Individual links include segments entitled introduction, history, attendance, economic impact, competitive challenges, options, pros and cons, funding, wrap-up and the entire presentation.
"This is a great opportunity to view the presentation that has been shared and will be shared with hundreds of people through public and group presentations," said Mayor Allender. "I encourage the public to go to the site and view the presentation in its entirety or review particular sections."
