The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board initiates, reviews, and makes recommendations for ordinances, policies, and rules governing the use of the City’s public parks, swimming pools, and other facilities including the golf courses. Board members also assist in making recommendations of appointments to the following subcommittees of the Board; Urban Forestry Board, Urban Wildlife, and the Beautification Committee.

Must be a resident of Rapid City and a registered voter.
MEETINGS
Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at the Parks and Recreation Administrative Offices.
