The Historic Sign Review Committee reviews and approves sign permits located within any historic district or on property listed and regulated by the National Register of Historic Places. Criteria used is appropriate during the historic ara for which the building or structure was constructed.
NUMBER OF MEMBERS
One standing member and an alternate must be a member of the Historic Preservation Commission. The remaining four members should include individuals with knowledge and experience in historic preservation, architecture, the sign industry, and/or be a property owner or business owner within the historic district.
RESIDENCY/REGISTERED VOTER REQUIREMENT
All meetings are held on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 9:00 a.m. in the 3rd Floor West Conference Room of the City/School Administration Center.
