The Capital Improvements Committee reveiws proposed expenditures for capital improvements for streets, municipal buildings, infrastructure and other capital projects or purchases and makes recommendations to the City Council to facilitate the creation of the 5-year plan.
NUMBER OF MEMBERS
The Committee is made up of one Alderman from each of the five wards of the City. Committee membership is appointed by City Council leadership. The Chairperson of the City’s Planning Commission shall also serve as a non-voting liaison to the Committee.
Meetings are held at 8:30 a.m. on the third Friday of each month, or an alternate date as may be established by the Chairperson, in the Council Chambers of the City/School Administration Center.
