The Rapid City Police Department has arrested 31-year-old William Daly of Rapid City as the suspect in the August 13th shooting near the intersection of North Maple Avenue and Van Buren Street.
Based on the progress of the investigation at this time, Daly has been booked into the Pennington County Jail for the offenses of Aiding/Abetting Attempted First Degree Murder, Distribution of a Controlled Substance and three counts of Ingestion of a Controlled Substance. The shooting victim remains in critical condition.
The RCPD continues to actively investigate the incident in conjunction with the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office.
