Despite her horrible singing voice, heiress Florence Foster Jenkins, played by Meryl Streep, longs to become an opera star in 1940s New York. The biography of the same name by Nicholas Martin and Jasper Rees as well as a documentary and Broadway play inspired the film. Hugh Grant and Simon Helberg also star.
