East Kansas City Street
Road Closure

Effective January 17, 2020 until January 22, 2020, East Kansas City Street will be closed to through traffic from East Boulevard to Myrtle Street. Local traffic will be able to enter from the east. Business and residence in the project area may encounter intermittent delays. Simon Contractors will ensure any delays are as short as possible.

E Blvd E North

EAST BOULEVARD
TRAFFIC RESTRICTION

Beginning immediately, northbound and southbound traffic will be restricted on East Boulevard from Kansas City Street to Quincy Street as part of the utility reconstruction project. Anticipated completion of this restriction is January 17, 2020.

East Blvd

WEST BOULEVARD
TRAFFIC RESTRICTION

Effective immediately, West Boulevard will be reduced to one lane in the southbound direction between Omaha Street and Quincy Street. Montana Dakota Utilities will be working in the center of West Boulevard. This work is expected to be completed by January 17, 2020.

EAST MAIN STREET NORTH, BETWEEN STEELE AVENUE AND BRENNAN AVENUE
BRIDGE CLOSED TO ALL TRAFFIC

Effective immediately, Monday, December 2, 2019, the bridge over Rapid Creek on East Main Street North, near the fairgrounds, is being closed to all traffic until further notice. Citizens traveling in this area will need to seek another route.

NORTH MOUNT RUSHMORE ROAD
FOUR-WAY STOP SIGN INSTALLATION

Effective Wednesday, December 4, 2019, as part of the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center (The Monument) expansion project, stop signs will be installed northbound and southbound on North Mount Rushmore Road at the northeast entrance to Central High School to create a four-way stop system. The duration of the four-way stop will be for approximately 3 months.
