Laura Armstrong was born and raised in South Florida. She and her husband moved to Rapid City in 1996 to create a home and family which reflected their love of the outdoors. Scott and Laura, along with their two daughters, enjoy spending their time hiking, biking, fly fishing, paddle boarding, snowboarding, and exploring the Black Hills and the surrounding areas.
Laura owns a small private speech pathology clinic and contracts with Black Hills Works, the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Center, Birth to Three Connections as well as the Rapid City Area School district. In addition, she leads the Black Hills chapter of the MS Society, volunteers at the library and the humane society and is instrumental with special projects and events for the South Dakota Speech Language Association.
