Biography
Dr. Stephen Tamang was born and raised in Montana and completed his undergraduate education there before deciding to pursue a career in medicine. He moved to Rapid City in 2014 and has been in full-time practice ever since—starting as a family medicine physician and later serving as a hospitalist.
Throughout his career, Dr. Tamang has focused on caring for the most vulnerable members of the community, including those facing addiction, homelessness, and complex medical needs. He lives in Rapid City with his wife, their two children, and two dogs, and is proud to call this city home.
