It is the policy of the City of Rapid City under SDCL 3-3-1 to provide Veteran’s Preference in Employment. This
guarantees a veteran, who meets the minimum qualifications for the position he or she has applied for, an interview for
that position.
Under Resolution 2012-014, the City will provide Disability Consideration in Employment.
