Summary of 11.1 Reviews

9/18/24 – 24CM002/CIHR24-0009 (631 Main Street) – The subject property is a contributing structure in the Downtown Commercial Historic District. The proposed changes affect the existing (non-historic) storefront at the south corner. The storefront previously included a non-historic sign and metal cladding which has since been removed. The proposed design will replace the previous signal with black and gray MAC metal siding as well as signage for the new tenant “Architecture Incorporated.” A new glass storefront will appear frameless from the exterior and replace the existing glass storefront, utilizing the same dimensions. The single door will be moved further to the south, while retaining the recessed element. No changes are proposed to the second story, or any other exterior element of the building. SHPO determined no adverse effect on 9/18/24.
