11.1 Reviews: August 14, 2018 – February 6, 2019

  1. 831 Saint James Street is a non-contributing structure in the West Boulevard Historic District. Upon receiving a stop work order, a permit was requested to expand the exterior deck/landing and change the materials. Due to the NC status, City and SHPO determined no adverse effect on 11/5/18 but recommended the property owner utilize a wood or metal railing as an alternative to the hog wire mesh. 18RS016/CIHR18-0036
  2. 713 West Street is a residential structure in the Environs of the West Boulevard Historic District. A demolition permit as requested to remove the stricture. City and SHPO determined no adverse effect, future construction will be reviewed under 11.1.18RS018/CIHR18-040
  3. 1015 St. Joseph Street is a contributing structure in the West Boulevard Historic District. A permit was requested to replace 18 windows, and remove one window. Due to the deterioration of the windows and the proposed replacement windows matching the historic windows is size, configuration, and material the City and SHPO determined no adverse effect on 11/30/18. 18RS019/CIHR18-0045
  4. 818 Saint James Street is an individually listed structure on the National Register of Historic Places. A permit was request to make exterior alterations affecting a non-historic addition. City and SHPO determined no adverse effect. 18RS020/CIHR18-0046
  5. 901 Fulton Street is a contributing structure in the West Boulevard Historic District. A permit as requested to replace the asphalt shingles with a metal architectural shingle in a shake profile. The City and SHPO determined no adverse effect on 12/26/18. 18RS021/CIHR18-0047
  6. 1403 West Boulevard is a contributing structure in the West Boulevard Historic District. A permit was requested to make exterior alterations to a non-historic addition. City and SHPO determined no potential for adverse effect 1/29/29. 19RS001/CIHR19-0002
  7. 818 Saint James Street is an Individually Listed Structure on the National Register. A permit was requested to rehabilitate/reconstruct the historic porch and 2nd story railing based on photo documentation of what was present historically.
