Agenda Item Summary:
Attached is the Agreement between the City of Rapid City and the City of Box Elder for accomplishing the Rapid City Area Transportation Planning Process. The Rapid City Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) approved the 2017 Unified Planning Work Program in December 2016, which included a request by the Executive Policy Committee to expend funds on a North Elk Vale Road Corridor Study. As the fiscal agent for the MPO, this agreement will allow Long Range Planning Staff to advertise the Request For Proposals for the North Elk Vale Road Corridor Study and select a consultant to complete the project.
