Agenda Item Summary:
This project involves fully rebuilding Wonderland Drive from Pine View Drive to Cliff Drive and repairing the road with a mill and overlay from Cliff Drive to Wonderland Court. A sidewalk will be added on the west side of Wonderland Drive (from Pine View Drive to Wonderland Court) to make it safer for pedestrians.
New sanitary sewer mains will be installed, expanding the City’s service area to cover the project area. Since this project is in a protected water source area (identified in a 2009 report by Stanley Consultants), water mains will also be installed, connecting to the Southwest zone on Park Drive to extend the City’s water service. Drainage improvements will include building a pond as outlined in the Drainage Basin Development Plan.
Two optional add-ons will be considered:
Ponderosa Court: Includes installing sanitary and water mains, rebuilding the street, and making drainage improvements.
Riva Ridge Road: Includes installing a water main, rebuilding the street, and making drainage improvements.
