Agenda Item Summary:
Field conditions discovered approximately a 715LF section of roadway adjacent to the current project that is need of replacement. This section of roadway was not in the original bid plans and specifications. In addition, two storm sewer culverts were found to be in a condition that is beyond repair, along with a section of a previously unmarked water main that was uncovered during the box culvert excavation. Performing the repairs as a value add in the current project will realize significant cost savings over creation of a separate project to address these concerns.
