Agenda Item Summary:
As part of the City’s pavement preservation program, an annual crack sealing project is completed to preserve our roadways. Per SDCL 5-18A-22(3), a local government is allowed to purchase an item from the lowest responsible bidder of an item competitively bid in the last twelve months by itself, or another governmental entity, at or below the bid price. Per this, the City wishes to enter into a contract with Highway Improvement, Inc. to provide crack sealing services per their contract with Pennington County dated March 19, 2024.
This work will be completed on select Monument parking lots ($25,000) and various City Streets ($75,000).
