Agenda Item Summary:
The Sports Commission has requested the removal to free up additional parking space during tournaments that generate significant attendance, as well as improve the aesthetic of the area during these hugely popular tournaments that draw a signicifcant number of tourists to the area to attend these events.
While there will be some labor cost involved in the removal, clean up and resetting of the containers, this cost will be offset by the labor savings that will be realized while staff is not maintaining the site for that timeframe.
