Agenda Item Summary:
SCADA: The City's SCADA system receives and transmits critical operational data from City facilities. The City wants professional recommendations for secure and consistent data collection and transmission throughout the City.
Alarms: Pennington County Emergency Management will no longer monitor some the City's fire and security alarms. This is an opportunity to evaluate the City's alarm protocols and response policies.
Surge Protection: Many City facilities have inadequate protection from lightning surge and surge from the power grid. This evaluation will make recommendations in order to provide this protection and make the City's system more resilient.
