Agenda Item Summary:
This project is a breakout project that is scheduled to occur ahead of the upcoming full roadway widening project of Sheridan Lake Road between Corral Drive and Catron Boulevard. Project components include the trenching and backfilling of a common utility trench that will be used by City IT and private utility companies (power, gas & communications) to relocate their existing and new facilities ahead of the planned widening project. This project will also construct a retaining wall and sidewalk on the east side of the corridor within the existing ROW. This newly installed sidewalk will also serve as a pedestrian access route when the full widening project occurs in 2024.
