Agenda Item Summary:
Authorization to advertise for bids was initially received on March 7, 2022 , those bids were opened on April 12, 2023 and rejected at the May 2, 2022 meeting due to time of delivery. A new request for bids was advertised in September, with no bids received at the September 27, 2022 bid opening. Staff entered into negotiations with Floyd’s on the purchase of these two trucks with no deviations from the original bid specs.
