Agenda Item Summary:
Over the last four years, Public Works Engineering staff along with the Infrastructure Advisory Group made up of community stakeholders designated by private utilities, construction contractors, engineers/consultants, and home builders have worked through proposed Standard Specification updates and have come to a consensus on the proposed changes as incorporated into the Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction, 2022 Edition. This Resolution also includes how the 2007 Specifications will be phased out and the new Specification incorporated into future construction. This Resolution also presents a path for regular updates to the Standard Specifications.
