Agenda Item Summary:
Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement with Ferber Engineering Company, Inc. is to provide professional design services for three tasks: 1) Public Open House Meeting to present the Multimodal Transportation Plan, completed per Agreement in FY 2021; 2) Study the water and sanitary sewer systems in the study area and to develop the Street/Utility Reconstruction Prioritization Plan; and, 3) Preliminary design of the Dover Street Water Main Reconstruction and Sioux San PRV Pit Abandonment project. Upon completion of this contract, an amendment to the contract in FY2023 is anticipated for the final design, bidding, and construction related services for the reconstruction of Elmhurst Drive (Preliminary Design completed per Agreement in FY 2021) and Dover Street Water Main / Sioux San PRV Pit Abandonment. Staff proposes to construct the projects in 2024.
