A request was received in the Engineering Office on March 17, 2022 requesting the requirement of installing sidewalk along Radar Hill Road and an ingress/egress easement per City of Rapid City Ordinance 12.08.060 to be waived. Construction of approximately 1082 feet of sidewalk along Radar Hill Road and the ingress/egress easement is required at the time of building permit. No properties near 23040 Radar Hill Road have sidewalk installed. The nearest public sidewalk is approximately 1.7 miles away in Murphy Ranch Estates Subdivision and over 2 miles west of reservoir road. The requested variance will allow for development of the property without the installation of sidewalk.
