Agenda Item Summary:
This agreement is for Ferber Engineering Company, Inc. to provide professional services for preliminary design, final design and bidding services for the 143rd Ave and Country Rd Trunk Sewer Extension Project. The project includes the extension of a 24” trunk sewer main from the existing 24” main at the intersection of 143rd Ave and Seger Drive to the Country Road Lift Station with a total length of approximately 1.5 miles. The project will include review of multiple potential alignments of the sewer extension during preliminary design and make a recommendation for the trunk sewer alignment. Majority of the project is located outside of City limits, but within Pennington County. The need for this project has been identified in City Master Planning projects as peak sewer flows contributing to the Country Road Lift Station have exceeded the lift station capacity and this project will allow for the decommissioning of the lift station.
