Agenda Item Summary:
The project team was able to coordinate and conduct the data collection process in an efficient and timely manner bringing a cost savings to the project of $43,295.59. These savings along with the reduction of scope has allowed the team to include an update to the Electrical Safety Program.
Amendment No. 1 accounts for the above savings and adds the development of an Electrical Safety Program and will revise the contract completion dates of the current agreement. The Electrical Safety Program is needed in order to comply with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 70E 2018, the program will align with 29 CFR 1910 Subpart S of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). The amendment will also remove the Robbinsdale Booster Station, Well No. 5, and Well No. 8 from the arc flash analysis report, these facilities are in construction or will be in construction rendering their study obsolete. The contract completion date will also be extended.
