Agenda Item Summary:
The SDDOT and the City will reimburse the City for disturbance/replacement of irrigation along the project corridor and will share in the cost of designing a pedestrian/bicycle access route to be used during construction. The City will grant property to the DOT along the Omaha Street corridor to be used for roadway widening, and in exchange, the SDDOT will grant property along Catron Boulevard to the City. Funds received by the State will be used to pay design and construction costs for items identified within the agreement. This supersedes the agreement approved on 10/7/19. The revised agreement adds the stipulation to section 4.C that the Transportation Commission approval is required for the exchange of property identified within that section, and replaces one page of Exhibit D which expands the construction easements for the project.
