Agenda Item Summary:
This year’s summer water demands are not as high as typical a summer. Highest demand days this year are 13 to 14 million gallons per day (mgd) compared to 20 to 21 mgd in recent years. The Water Operations Department was concerned that the 2019 summer demands would not be representative of a typical summer and may impact results. As such, it was recommended that the testing that would be impacted by demands should be delayed and evaluated during more representative peak demands. This amendment changes the scheduled completion date for the project.
