Agenda Item Summary:
The Water, Water Reclamation, and Solid Waste Divisions have several miscellaneous types of projects that are budgeted over the next three years. There are simialtirties between the projects for each Division and staff believes it is most cost effective to design, bid, and construct the projects by grouping them together. It is anticipated that there will be multiple bid packages and work is budgeted to occur over a three year period. Staff proposes to hire a Consultant to be responsible for designing multiple types of projects and packaging the projects in a manner that is cost effective for bidding and construction.
