The current MRF forklift trucks have reached their useful life and are in need of replacement. Solid Waste Material Recovery Facility uses these units in processing, baling and shipping of recyclables. The present units are 10 years old and showing significant down time and extended costs to keep them running. Estimated replacement cost $148,000 for two new units, utilizing revenues from Landfill/MRF Reserve Fund.
