Agenda Item Summary:
Traffic Operations staff will reconfigure northbound 5th Street from St. Joseph Street to Nikko Street in order to convert the northbound approach at Main Street from a left turn lane, a shared through/left turn lane, and a through lane to two left turn lanes and two through lanes. The Police Department has identified the existing northbound lane configuration as the cause of a recurrent crash problem at the 5th St. & Main St. intersection and the Traffic Engineer agrees.
