Agenda Item Summary:
Solid Waste staff will solicit Request for Proposal from engineering firms for the design of a gas well and collection system to meet state and federal guidelines for collection of gas on closed cells 13, 14, & 17. Work will include the design of vertical gas wells and horizontal transmission pipes to the existing gas flare system. The engineering firm selected will also update landfill gas collection long-term plan.
