Agenda Item Summary:
Request is for purchase of two new laboratory glassware washers. The current units are failing due to leaking seals, pump failures, and general inability to remove contaminants. This results in failed laboratory testing for organics. The purchase is exempt from competitive bidding in accordance with state bid law, (This is due to the highly specialized nature of laboratory equipment), and will require a budget supplement. The purchase price includes delivery and installation of units.
