Agenda Item Summary:
The proposed amendments correct an outdated reference to the Conditional Use Permit procedures section that is within the Flood Hazard District Conditional Uses section (RCMC §17.28.040); remove redundant language in the general townhouse requirements (RCMC §17.50.020) to clarify that townhouses are a permitted use in the Low Density Residential District 2, Medium Density Residential District, and High Density Residential District, and a Conditional Use in the Low Density Residential District 1; and, add references to all applicable zoning district chapters within the yard, building setback, and open space exceptions section (RCMC §17.50.250). There are currently six zoning districts that are omitted from the yard, building setback and open space exceptions. These regulations apply to all zoning districts.
