Agenda Item Summary:
The applicant has submitted a Preliminary Subdivision Plan to subdivide the property currently addressed as 4600 Mount Rushmore Road into five lots. The lots will range from 4.7 acres to 12.9 acres in size and will be known as Lot A and Lots 1 thru 4 of Zion Subdivision. The property is located west of the terminus of Ranchester Street and previously contained a single-family dwelling and an accessory building on the northwest corner of the site. These buildings were accessed by a gravel driveway and were recently demolished by the applicant. The topographic map submitted identifies that all existing gravel surfacing will be removed. A Preliminary Subdivision Plan is a tentative plan of a proposed subdivision requiring the installation of public improvements. Approval of a Preliminary Subdivision Plan by the City Council is required before an applicant can proceed with Development Engineering Plans and a Final Plat application for all or part of the area within the Preliminary Subdivision Plan application.
