Agenda Item Summary:
The applicant has submitted a Rezoning request to change the zoning designation from General Agricultural District to General Commercial District on a 0.73 acre portion of Lot 1 of Tract B of Rushmore Crossing. The balance of Lot 1 is currently zoned General Commercial District. Rezoning the northeast corner of the property as proposed will create one zoning designation for the entire lot. The proposed rezone to General Commercial District is supported by the City’s Future Land Use Plan. The property is located approximately 245 feet south of the intersection of Eglin Street and Luna Avenue. Currently, the property is void of any structural development.
