Agenda Item Summary:
The applicant has submitted a Major Amendment to a Planned Development Overlay application to allow an arcade within a restaurant. More specifically, the applicant is proposing to construct a 2,910 square-foot addition to the existing 6,633 square-foot Pizza Ranch restaurant to include an arcade intended for restaurant patrons. The addition of an arcade will result in a decrease in seating. With the addition of the arcade, the restaurant will have a total of 278 seats. The applicant is requesting an exception to reduce the parking requirement from 105 to 102. A Final Planned Development Overlay (file number 13PD001) was approved on March 7, 2013 for this property to allow the construction of a restaurant with reduced drive-through stacking requirements.
