Agenda Item Summary:
The applicant has submitted a Conditional Use Permit to allow development of a walk-in neighborhood park to be located on a 9,295 square foot lot within the Highpointe Ranch residential development. The applicant is proposing a seeded lawn with a shelter and two pieces of interactive playground equipment surrounded by engineered wood fiber fill. The park will only be open for day use only and a sign will be posted accordingly. The applicant intends for this park to be a walk-in & carry-in park. As such, there will be no trash or parking provided. The applicant is providing a gravel path for temporary access, and will provide paved sidewalks (and potentially curb-side parking) once the neighborhood development extends north of the park.
